28 states to take part in 60th All India Police Volleyball

Patna, Jan 23 (PTI) Altogether 28 states will participate in the 60th All India Police Volleyball (Cluster) Championship, 2012 to be held in Bihar from February 1 next. Altogether 1597 players from 28 states will take part in the five-day tournament from February 1-5, 2012 being held to coincide with the centenary celebration of the foundation of the Bihar, Director General of Police (DGP) Abhayanand told reporters here. The chief minister Nitish Kumar will inaugurate the national volleyball championship for the police at the BMP ground on February 1 next, he said. The policemen from across the country will also participate in other disciplines like Basketball, Handball, Kabaddi besides Volleyball, Abhayanand said.
